Oldenzaal 1885, Jewish lessons

At the picture’s centre the sisters Celine and Sophia Weijl, (11) and (12), then 8 and 10 years old. Left (5) their brother Maurits Weijl, 12 years. These three were children of Louise Meijers (1833-1912) and Lefmann Weijl (1817-1888) and had a further seven siblings. Their oldest brother was Herman (1855-1940), my great-grandfather.
